Earthquake, Fire, and Wind Resistant
The wind load for the Casita is 127mph (exposure C) and 115mph (exposure B). The Casita was engineered with fire resistance in mind. The interior and exterior of the structure are clad with non-combustible materials. The panels have been tested for seismic load.

The Casita comes standard with a full kitchen and bathroom, as well as plenty of living space which is perfect for a couch & bed (sold separately) or whatever you envision! In addition to the appliances, the Casita also comes equipped with all the necessary utility hookups such as water, electricity, internet, and sewage which means setup is a breeze & you are ready to live in your new home.
There are two versions of the Casita. The first is built to residential building codes ready to be set on a permanent foundation. It has 100 amp electrical service. It has all electric appliances (Fridge, Microwave, Range, HVAC). It has two doors.
The second is built to ANSI A119.5 RV code and is permanently affixed to wheels. It’s a great addition to RV parks with 50 amp electrical service. Most of the appliances are electric but has a propane range (Fridge, Microwave, HVAC, Dishwasher). There is only one door.
The standard flat roof is rated at 31 lbs. per square foot of snow. For those of us in snow country a pitched roof might need to be installed by a contractor to make it compliant with local guidelines pertaining to the weather in your area. Adding a pitched roof to the Casita would greatly increase the snow load capacity.

Within the 120 Sq. Ft. the Baby Box has all of the essentials and some cool extras like a 55″ flat screen TV. The Baby Box has an integrated trailer and needs little to no permitting, site preparation, or foundation. It can be towed by a pickup truck.
Besides a large television amenities include a full kitchen, bathroom, and living space with a large closet for personal items. It includes a mini-split air conditioner, water heater, water tanks, waste tanks, and battery for off grid living compatibility.
The comfortable sofa included converts into a bed. There are two 12 volt, deep cycle marine batteries and it’s built to RVIA code.
Connect the water with an RV hose and the electric with a heavy duty extension cord and you are done.
