Tiny House Village Success Story

Tiny Tranquility Park in Waldport, Oregon is a Tiny House Village success story. It was created from a defunct greenhouse property by the sea and developed into a really beautiful place to live by Josh Palmer, steps from the Pacific Ocean.

The focus of the development is “shared spaces.” There’s an indoor garden area and several community gathering spots.

There are 43 sites ranging in size from 2,400 to 4,000 sq. feet. Long term lot rents range between $650.00 and $700.00 per month*, plus electricity, and require a one-year commitment. Nightly and short-term rentals are handled by Sweet Home Rentals and start at about $109.00/night*.

Once the site of a plant nursery, owner Josh Palmer transformed the space into a delightful community featuring large common spaces. Josh started from scratch installing the infrastructure for the park, but was able to restore and repurpose many of the nursery buildings. This project truly reflects the heart of a tiny living community.
