Hands On Activities and Planning Ahead
If hands-on activity helps him relax, the ten tools you’ll need to build a tiny house are also perfect for building outdoor furniture and other projects.
Perhaps he pictures himself one day hitting the open road in an RV.
Knowing what to expect and how to plan for the journey may just be the bright spot he needs when the days are long and the boss is a jerk.

Invest in a Great Audio System
Everyone likes listening to their era music. The Sonos app makes it easy to organize and play your favorite music from all the different sources. Their speakers are almost too good to be believed. Enjoy deep mellow bass and unmatched clarity from even their smallest speakers.
The speaker you buy today can become part of a larger system later on. See more about Sonos audio system on this page.
A Wood Stove Creates Great Ambiance
When the autumn winds inevitably force us inside, a space-saving but awesome audio system can soften the blow. In fact, reading by the flickering glow of a tiny wood stove seems to kindle a spark of hope in every man’s soul.
Wood Stove in RVs
Wood stoves can be safe in RVs and tiny homes if installed properly. See more details on this page: Wood Stove Is It Safe To Use In An RV

Plants & Landscaping
If your dad is a gardener, plants are always a great gift. By Father’s Days the risk of frost is past for most of us. Buy me petunias! I have a place for them. Most of our flowering plants are perennials, and I appreciate the fact that they need little or no care. But our annual petunias are a cheery addition to our garden, and they bloom all summer long.
Landscaping
My landscaping is almost complete, to my great relief. At my age there’s very little I can still do as far as digging holes and lifting patio pavers. If your dad has a landscaping project he can’t do, perhaps the gift he’d appreciate the most is help with pulling weeds and trimming the lawn.
Why not celebrate Father’s Day by rounding up the family to work on his yard? He’d probably love to fire up the grill and host a barbecue for all the hungry volunteers!
